Laurent Street from Airline Road to Mesquite Lane and

Laurent/Mesquite Lane Intersection Closed For Two Nights

Beginning February 25

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) The City will close Laurent Street from Airline Road to Mesquite Lane and the intersection of Laurent Street at Mesquite Lane on Thursday, February 25 from 8 p.m. - 7 a.m. and Friday, February 26, from 8 p.m. - 7 a.m. to install sanitary sewer and storm sewer lines. Mesquite Lane can be accessed via Bluebonnet Drive (west of Laurent) and Azalea Street (east of Laurent). The construction should be completed over these two nights, weather permitting. 

All businesses and parking lots in the construction zone will remain accessible via alternate routes. On-street parking will be prohibited in the work zone.

This construction is part of the $6,171,007 Laurent Street Reconstruction Phase II Project. The contractor is Total Site, Inc. of Houston, Texas.
