Main Street Narrowed Between Forrest St. and Constitution St.

for Eight Weeks,  Beginning June 10, 2010

(VICTORIA, TEXAS) Beginning Thursday, June 10, 2010, the City will reduce Main Street between Forrest Street and Constitution Street to one lane for the construction of new curb and gutter, storm sewer, and sidewalks. Parking in the construction zone will not be available.  This traffic and parking restriction will remain in effect for approximately eight weeks, weather permitting. 

All businesses and parking lots in the construction zone will remain accessible via alternate routes. Drivers can expect delays in the work zone and should use alternate routes to get around the work zone if possible.

This construction is part of the $2,168,275 Main Street and DeLeon Plaza Improvements Project. The contractor is SER Construction Partners, Ltd. of Pasadena, Texas.
