
The City of Victoria has developed a new subdivision called “Swan Crossing”. Located at the corner of Delmar Drive and Hanselman Road , the 55 lots were created to promote affordable entry-level housing for Victoria residents. Homes in the subdivision range in size from 1100 to 1300 square feet. All homes feature 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with an oversized one car garage. Rokyta Custom Homes has been selected as the home builder.
A majority of the homes in the subdivision must be sold to income qualified homebuyers. Income qualified homebuyers will receive the lot value (estimated at $15,000) through a 5-year deferred, forgivable loan. This means at the end of five years the loan is completely forgiven and you own the lot free and clear. Some assistance is also available to help with principal buy-down and closing costs. Homebuyers must be able to qualify for a home mortgage. There are several participating lenders that are providing special terms just for Swan Crossing. If you are interested in purchasing a home in Swan Crossing, contact the Planning Department at 485-3360.
